Frequently Asked Questions

What makes the Cocoon™ worth its price?

1,800 nursing hours in your first year. Most of them out in the world — restaurants, weddings, planes, the park. You deserve to feel like yourself in every single one.

The Cocoon costs less than $0.05 per feed.

Less than a stick of gum.

We built it to last — pre-washed yarn that won't pill, reinforced seams, fabric soft enough to survive multiple babies. Mamas write to tell us theirs made it through three kids.

Our Story

I thought breastfeeding would be intuitive.

It wasn't.

What surprised me: the latching. The feeding schedules. Nursing covers so ugly I didn't want to be seen in them. And a discomfort I didn't expect — never quite knowing when it was okay to feed in front of someone.

That's what kept me home.

I'd spent years as a fashion designer in New York City. As a new leaky mama, I wanted to build something moms could actually feel excited to wear — something that made life easier.

So I designed a nursing cover cute enough to wear on purpose. Breathable and lightweight, so nobody's sweating — not you, not baby.

You're doing the hardest job on earth. This was built to make one part of it easier.

This is my go to for all things postpartum- of
Course for breastfeeding on the go, but also as a warm layer at work, and a stylish cover for a night out! I have 5 now! (And want another! Haha)

It's been with me through several seasons. From the mall to the beach. And even with someone sitting next to me and rays of sunlight directly overhead, they can't see ANYTHING that's going on in there. My Cocoon is the one thing that has to come with me on every outing with or without my child because sometimes I have to pump. It's almost like MY security blanket, except it's light and fashionable. The babe loves to play with the fabric when she's on my chest, and sometimes she's not even in there feeding, just taking a break from the outside world or playing peek-a-boo. She snuggles with it when my husband puts her down to sleep because it smells like me. I also use it to cover her from the sun. The Cocoon has come with me hand-in- hand through this stage of my life, and we love it.

Just like you Mama, the cocoon does it all! A master multitasker, is more than a nursing cover. I bought my olive cocoon when my son was born 2 years ago. Now that I have a daughter, I since then bought three more (natural, honey and black) and heavily eyeing the desert rose color. I use it for a car seat and stroller cover, a cape and scarf, and even a toddler poncho for my son. My most highly recommended Mama gift for any mama! I adore all of mine ❤️

Have had cocoon for over 4 years now! It has held up not only through my pregnancy and breastfeeding journey but both my sisters as well all shared. Now I’m having my second and ready to buy even more. All my friends have tried to send me dupes but they really don’t compare! Feel so put together and baby is able to breathe.

Fav breastfeeding cover. So versatile- I wore it to work, traveling, my friend’s wedding. Breathable and not too dark for baby underneath. Good for feeding, pumping, or unrelated.

I bought this Cocoon for my baby's first international flight. He was 8 months at the time, and he would get very distracted while nursing, but he'd also overheat, so I needed something to block his view, give me some privacy, and keep him cool. The Cocoon was perfect! It still is a staple piece in my diaper bag. Originally, the Cocoon wasn't going to come in time for my trip due to an order backlog, so I reached out to customer service, and they were able to get the Cocoon to me in time. Not only is this product great, but the people behind it really care as well. Worth every penny!

This product is everything. don’t hesitate. Just buy. Or get the quince dupe, but this one lasts better through the wash and the colors are better, unless you’re getting the beige/cream color- which is essentially the same. This nursing cover changed EVERYTHING about breastfeeding in public, for me. It made it SO easy. It’s chic and goes unnoticed. And it’s SO breathable for baby. And if I wander around with the cover still on, it’s cute and elegant and has a bohemian feel, and looks like I did it on purpose! Just get it! And it makes an amazing gift as well! Don’t settle for your second rate nursing cover that is ugly and leaves your baby sweating at the end of nursing. This thing is genius. I wish I came up with it. Just get it!

I wanted something breathable for my baby, easy to put on/take off, keep my baby comfortable while falling asleep on boob, and still be subtle enough to wear out. Tried and true with my first born when I got this (she was born January of 2023. Used it with her until she was 2 years and 7month old (officially weaned her off of boob). Now I’m using it with my son who is 9 weeks old. It’s been such an awesome game changer that I literally gifted this to 4 of my girlfriends, and will continue to with each new mama I know. It’s amazing for not just nursing but for nap times on the go. Love this and love the brand.
